Well the game opens and runs now, but it runs amazingly slow, not on the menu screens but on the actual world. It doesn't look like a FPS issue cause the frames move smooth, just the game itself, any ideas?

Highly doubt that. But anyways:
Dell XPS L502X
Intel Core i5 -2410M @2.30 GHZ
4GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit
Nvidia geforce 525M 1GB
580 GB HDD
2.30GB is a lil slow for GameCube Wii emulation but there are tweeks atleast you have a reasonable graphics chip set
http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.ph...formance_guide is worth you looking at to tweek the performance a bit
http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.ph...sh_Bros._Melee has a few tweeks just for that game
check out both

Thanks a lot, I tried tweaking some things myself and got a little better speed but still not enough, I'll definitely check those guides
Still can't get it to run fast enough :/, weird how my computer can play Crysis 2 at high and many other high end games, yet it cannot emulate GC..

Your notebook is just like mine man! I tried this tweeks long time ago and it was still not perfect That's why I recently bought a Wii!
Emulation is different than PC games I'm sure someone you be able to explain better but the thing is emulation is more demanding!

Well the tweaks helped a little, don't understand why it's slow if I'm running at 60 fps :s.
I was doing like regular single player mode and when I got to the target thingy, game was running extremely fine, hell it was even faster. It kinda depends on the world
Emulation and PC games are totally different
Emulation works by emulatating hardware via software that uses alot more resorces than a PC game
Take Resident Evil 4 that is ported to PC, originally on the GameCube, now your PC will run Resident Evil 4 just fine, but via emulation you will not get the same results because it's not just playing the game but emulating the hardware it was ment for aswell so it will use atleast twice (possibly alot more) what is required of the PC port of the same game
GameCube Wii and PS2 are all highend emulators
Personly I own a Wii also, modded via software so I play all my Wii and Gamecube games on that

Downloaded Zelda and it works (yay for that).
But it runs extremely fast like at double speed, anything I can do?
take a look at the compatibility lists!

They show the best configs and revisions to play the game with. And you can watch some gameplay on youtube too and compare your PC specs with others.
