Default Better Emulator For NEO GEO Than Kawaks?

MAME doesnt work on my computer, and other have talked about another emulator thats newer. What is it? I dont like how Kawaks makes you have to input keys every single time you open it and lay another game. SO is there one that is either universally regarded as better than Kawaks, or one that will allow me to have the same key inputs everytime I play on it?

It's not a case of best, but more best for you

Kawaks (Not sure why you have those issues, there homepage is dead now)
    Final Burn http://www.barryharris.me.uk/
    Nebula http://nebula.emulatronia.com/
    NeoRage (what another dead homepage)
Ace (there home page is dead now but it was good in it's day)

Personly I like Final Burn others like NeoRage, a few like Kawaks and Nebula

EDIT:- looks like there are only 2 still alive I would look to those first Final Burn and Nebula

I used to love Raine but that was more for other games, not tried the Neo version

Edit NeoRaine is Neo CD only... sorry my mistake and the normal Raine as far as I know doesn't have neo-geo support included, I could be wrong though it's years since I last used it

zophar is a trusted site but on the edge of causion isn't such a bad thing and no idea why he stopped supporting the 32bit version but it does seem silly to me

zophar is a lil out of date and is a previous version to the authers site

    EDIT:

Seems the unicode version is windows 32bit, sorry didn't have time to check was on my way out

Yup, Final Burn Alpha is the way to go, Best emu for playing CPS1,CPS2, Neogeo, and many others.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    Sadly no,

Unlike MAME, FBA is lacking in all the various drivers MAME uses and is slowly updated with new ones, my only guess is to request it in the FBA forums but they are a snobbish bunch so best of luck to ya.

Why can't Mame run?? there are many ports of mame out there including windows 32bit gui versions

There are also plenty of windows 32bit gui front ends

Mame I admid can be frustrating tracking down correct roms but once you have what you need it's not that hard to figure

P.S. Nebula doesn't support the game in question either

P.P.S. try http://mame32fx.altervista.org version of Mame it should run fine on your setup

Well, Ive downloaded MAME from coolroms and fantasyanime, and both of those makes my computer restart and it acts like it was virus. I dont have that problem with any other emulator Ive downloaded from those sites.

Just try it and see if it works or not

You have problems with your machine if this happens, out of interest what versions of mame are they?

    mame0146b.exe is on coolroms
mameui320.143.6 and 1.15 are on fantasyanime

Ill just stick to using FBA, why is the configure in another 7zip folder? I guess I should extract it to get the emulator to work right?
