Final Fantasy IX

Hey, i've just downloaded Final Fantasy IX and during the fight scenes no UI is available? Everything else is working fine, except for that?

Any solution to this or?

Do you have special fixes on in your graphics plugin, there should be one that says Only for FF9?

P.S. it might help if you post your current graphics plugin setup and your system specs

Offscreen drawing is usually a cause for missing screens/missing graphics

Yeah I think the fix was for the battle mode. Also off screen drawing I believe should be either 2 or 3. Pretty sure it's 3 but try both.

The Offscreen drawing is hardware dependant so for some it may be 2 for others it may be 3, so without knowing what is best for each system I tend to just advise changing it rather than giving an exact setting anyway

I have another problem, I'm new to the PS emmulator and It's just told me to start disc 2, but when I try to load the .bin file it just comes up with a black screen and nothing happens even after 10 minutes.

Disc changing only works if you mount your CD images with Daemon Tools Lite and use Run CD-Rom instead (you will need to setup the CD-Plugin to look at the correct drive though)

But I take it you have saved at the end of the disc, so you can just restsret the emulator with the next disc disc and load that save you created at the end of the last disc

I lie there is an alternative CD-Plugin you can use, but I would recomend Daemon Tools over it as D-Tools Lite actually helps with other emulation issues

when installing make sure to say no to installing any tool bars & addware but do make sure you install the SPTD drivers

Hey, thanks for the reply, but I haven't got a clue on how to use this? and the only device its picking up is my actual CD drive? So confused

I watched a tutorial, but it doesn't even recognize my FFIX files?

P.S why is my connection to EmuParadise so bad? Takes me like 5-10 minutes to load the pages

Have you got D-Tools installed including the SPTD drivers??

if so all you do is right clight on the ccd file or the cue file and hit open with Daemon tools, if the option is not there just select choose default program and find D-Tools that way

once that is done

go into ePSXe goto Config>CD-Rom

Set ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0

Hit Configure and Select Cdrom letter

set this to the leter used by D-Tools

my file is a .bin file, how would I go about getting it to a ccd or a cue file?

I changed my files to ccd but when I try to open with Daemon the message of a Command line error comes up?

ccd is a very small file that tells whatever software is reading it what is in the main image file, name it back to have bin on the end

P.S. what version did you get because you are better off getting the U version that is the American version rather than the E version that is the PAL UK version but that PAL UK version has copy protection
