A wild guess but your PC seems very under par for PS2 emulation (i.e. your PC is just not good enough for such high end emulation as emulation needs more power than PC games of the same quality and higher quality)

A lil more info on your GPU would be helpfull (GPU=Graphics Processing Unit)

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]
Please can all ESR users post your results here to help with the project and others wanting to use ESR

There is no need to know what your GPU is because no matter how good it is, you will always be severely bootlenecked by your very weak CPU.

You need at least around 2.5 Ghz dual core to be able to play the less demanding 3D game with full speed.

You can always overclock your CPU but handle with care since it will kill your rig if you don't know what you are doing. Your GPU is also kinda weak, so instead of spending 1000+ $ on a desktop that can run PCSX2 fluently, pick up a ps2 (they are cheap nowadays) and mod it yourself. That way you won't have lags or incompatibility with some games.

The PS2 is easy enough to softmod

The compat is not as high as you might think though

The best way to mod the PS2 yourself is with FreeBootMC and ESR combined this will let you boot patched DVD+R's directly no swop/swap tricks involved (well not once you install FBMC) this does not give you 100% compat as some games are on CD and this mod only works for DVD's but some CD games can be converted the DVD... others can't

Antherway involves an external HDD but this method lags very badly for the most part

Mod Chips though do work very well do invlolve taking the PS2 apart and that machine is very easy to mess up once inside of it specially if you are removing internal parts to get to the main board, one of the big bonuses is that you can also boot PSX CD's that FBMC can't well not without a swop/swap trick involved, if you do go for the mod chip though I still recomend you install FBMC & ESR aswell that will boost the compat of the Mod Chip
