Question Dolphin can't find ISOs and Wii ROMs

ISOs and Wii ROMs won't play on dolphin emulator.
VCOMP related issues are not the problem.
Trying to play "Super Smash Bros Melee" and "Brawl".
Emulator cannot find roms/iso's and redownloading emulator was not the answer.
    Can any1 help? pyro:

    Can you elaborate please?

To set the paths to find the game just click on options => configure=> pick the last tab "paths" and then click add and you can choose the folder where the games are.

Are the games still zipped? Get 7zip here it's free!!!

As I said please elaborate so we can help.

i have tried everything i culd find online, utube,etc...
and no. using paths stil didnot help.. when i look at the roms/isos they don't have a dolphin logo; none of the files are zipped in any way.

is there like a certain fle that they need to be under for it to locate the game thru a path?

Do you know what the file extension of your games are?

Where did you get them from? here or somewhere else?

extract the rar/zip/7z ect file, these are all archive files that must be extracted via something like 7-zip

also multi part files usually have *.00# files aswell or just have part # in the file name, but extracting from a *.rar or *.zip or *.7z or even a *.001 will extract from all the files/parts included in the archive set

from that you should get a single *.iso file (some gamecube ISO's are named *.gcm, if you realy wanted you can change the gcm part of the name to iso)

never try and extract a *.iso file

ciso are compressed ISO's and would also need to be converted back to standard ISO format. (I presume anyway, I personly do not emulate the Wii owning an actual Wii and use an external HDD with it)

wbfs is for use with real Wii hardware to be installed on an external HDD, you can convert that aswell back to ISO format

P.S. if there is a next time please give more detail when asking for help. e.g. like file types ect

actually I have a feeling he might have wbfs files.

In which case you can just google something like wii backup manager to convert it to iso.
