    Default Final Fantasy IX

Im having some trouble...i downloaded Final Fantasy IX and for the most part it works fine except for one small problem the menu in battle seems to be missing. if you press the arrow keys you can clearly hear it on. and if you press the select button you attack...but the menu itself is invisible. i need help.

In ePSXe there's a change disc option under File.

That in epsxe 1.70 only works with cd plugins that are not the internal one (known issue)

I think he means that you need to use another cd-plugin than the internal one provided with the emulator for it to work.

If you check my page you can see that all the games that have two or more disc the cd rom plugin o iso plugin are not the epsxe you can use for cd rom plugin the Sapu CDRom Plugin v.1.3 o P.E.Op.S. CDR Version 1.4 that you can find in the dowload part of my page and for the iso you can mount it or use cdr virus o cdr pirate image driver

The last Question in the PSX FAQ thread pinned in this forum describes how to change discs is you are using ePSXe 1.70.

You can just use the internal ones anyway just use Daemon Tools Lite to mount the CD images instead of running them directly through ePSXe

You will also need to configure the internal pluging for the CD-Rom to read from the Virtual CD drive Daemon Tools Lite creates

The above also fixes some other minor issues with a few games, some of the issues caused by directly running a game are not fixed by using an alternative plugin also the issues caused by directly running the games can cause some games to crach out at certain points that makes you think there is a problem with the CD Image, this has been proven false on many occations but that type of thing is few and far between. I'm sure that one of the reasons we don't have as many posts about that sort of error is more due to the fact more and more users are clued up on the best way to run there CD images (i.e. via Daemon Tools Lite, using Run CD-Rom rather than directly via run CD-image)

There is a huge amount of games that will run fine, when ran directly but not all of them.
