Question GCN games on softmodded wii with wiimote nunchuck

I have a softmodded wii, and was thinking of running some gamecube isos off of my usb stick. I didnt have a gamecube so do I need a gamecube controller (and memory card), or is there a way where i can emulate the gamcube controller with wiimote, and nunchuck?

Nope, just grab a gamecube port memcard (don't be fooled by SD gamecube memcard adaptors, they are just for homebrew and may possibly cost more than a cheap GC memcard)

For controls you could buy a PSX/PS2 to Game Cube adaptor instead if you wanted instead of a game cube controller

I know I found the GC controller a lil getting used to though once you do it is a very good controller

Both controller options should be cheap enough though

A controller via the GC port is prefured for some Wii, Wiiware & Virtual Console games aswell

If you have other types of PSX or PS2 controllers like a Joystick or Steering Wheel then a converter would be a beter option to start with, atleast to get you going

Personly I like the Cube pads for Cube/Wii/WiiWare/V-Console games, or the multi system joystick I have though only for a select few games

See the thing is that I don't have a lot of money as I'm a kid. In addition to this I live in Sweden, which is an incredibally expensive country. I didnt want to spend any money to get this to work, but I guess I'll have to buy a used gamecube controller than...

I don't think you can buy em new now anyway, unless you find em online nowerdays

The UK aint too cheap either but we have stores like cash converters and games shops that do trades and sell 2nd hand goods aswell as new ones
