Shenmue I Disc 3 freeze

It's really annoying, my disc 3 always freezes at the same moment : at the end of my first day of part time job, just after the boss pays me and I leave piece, exactly when the harbor is loading. Half the time, it's freeze a little before, when the second battle (with 3 guys) is loading.

It's an original PAL disc, should I buy a cd burner and make a burned cd ? Or my dreamcast lens is anyway too poor ?

Likely the disc. If it was your Dreamcast I don't think it would freeze in the exact same spot.

So yeah try getting an iso of disc 3 and burn it off and see if that works.

actually if it was the exact same spot it is still more likely to be the CD itself and not the dreamcast randon read errors can still be a media issue and not a hardware issue, either way a reburn is advised

just reburn what you already downloaded was probobly just a bad burn or a very small scratch or mark on the CD-R that either has happended after the burn or was even maybe on the disc to start with preventing the laser burning the CD correctly

Finally, I resolve my problem, Shenmue works !
I just move the lens, more exactly his moving support, this was a little blocked.

So, for those having freeze problems on Shenmue (searching in the net, i wasn't the only person having this problem), don't hesitate to handle the lens.
