    Hahahahah oh wow.

Look, I'll try again. Please understand this.

I REALLY DOUBT YOU COULD DEVELOP AN SD READING CARTRIDGE YOURSELF.
I also doubt anyone here would know how to make one, and the man who makes the cartridges certainly will not tell you.
It is expensive, but they work well. Depending on the console, it can go from 50 to nearly 200 dollars, plus shipping costs if you live out of the US.

As inferno said, THIS is what you're looking for: http://krikzz.com/
Those are boards that can take SD cards. You load the game on the SD card, put the card in the cartridge, and the cartridge in the console. Then, you turn it on and play. That's all.

You can see where to buy them from here:

    retrogate.com
    store.kitsch-bent.com
    stoneagegamer.com
    warnersretrocorner.com
    tototek.com
    junfangames (for Chinesse customers)
    retrogame.co.kr
    emere.es
    gp2x.de
    hardcore-gamer.net
    sanvishop.com

If not, just use an emulator... it takes like five minutes to get an emu and roms.

    check it out

It is doable but you will have difficulties flashing it (Not that it is hard but it's removing the chip then flashing it game for game slap the chip back on the pcb, then repeating for the next game, thats after you make it, that simply involves removing the original game chip soldering in a IC socket so you can place in a flashable chip in the IC socket and remove it to re-flash the chip)

Well, Im still working on that thread but it is still correct information.
Since I posted that, I have bought a Willem E/EPROM programmer, an eprom eraser and several different eprom chips of various pinouts and capacities.

Right now I am working on SNES and waiting for some new chips to arrive. It is basically the same method though. For SNES you need 27c801 or similar.
Just like Zorlon said, you can write to the chip and place it in the cartridge, however becuase many games are larger than 8Mb, you would need many 27c801 chips to be daisy chained to one another and decoded with a 74ls139 IC. In all honesty, I suggest you buy one of these:

    http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product...rdrive-non-usb

@Zorlon, maybe he meant that he missed the thread when he did a search.

A video is no help if simple instructions are no help

Just pull out the cash and buy one of the ones already mentioned that just use a SD/Micro SD

If you are not used to using a soldering iron and you find simple instructions hard to follow you are not going to be successful at creating your own flashable cart, although good as it sounds a flash kit that just uses a SD to store the roms on is going to be alot more user friendly than a flash fit that can only flash a single game at a time to a flashable chip that requires removing to flash to then placing back into the cart after the new game has been flashed to it

Text and pictures is all I offer. If I were to make a video from start to finish with explanations, then it would probably reach about 4 hours long.
Plus, I hate copying down URLs from videos so I won't subject you to the same torture.

I don't know what you think the above is but it's not a flash kit of any kind

The above you posted lets you play real carts via emulation on a PC and hook up your SNES/Megadrive controllers as interesting as that sounds, it's rather pointless nowerdays as most games are already dumped so don't require the actual carts

Inferno had already linked one flash kit, but....

http://krikzz.com/ has kits for SNES, Megadrive/Genesis (32X), GameGear, MasterSystem and Nintendo 64

It has links that sell them at the above aswell

Myself I emulate those systems on my Xbox original and if I realy wanted I could simply get a few USB SNES & Megadrive pad clones or use a SNES/Megadrive pad to USB converter on my Xbox

If you can't understand any part of this, tell me and I'll explain more.

It shows coins. That is NOT correct. You have to buy them with dollars.
