    Default NullDC 0xc000007b Error Message

Hi All! I've just bought a Dreamcast And I'm trying to set up NullDC in order to test my burned discs (I assume that if the disc works in the emulator it'll work in the actual system). I'm running a Windows 7 PC, I downloaded the latest release of the emulator and I have all the necessary plugins, dlls, bioses, etc. When I first tried running the emulator, it told me I was missing a couple of dlls and I downloaded them and put them in the same folder as NullDC. When I try to run the emulator now, I get an application error (0xc000007b) and it says "the application was unable to start correctly". Does anyone here have any idea how to make this work? Thanks in advance.

Update!: Okay, I figured out that the reason it won't work is because my PC is 64 bit and NullDC is only compatible with 32 bit. I tried running it in Windows XP compatibility mode, but that didn't work. Any other ideas?

Works on my 64bit Windows 7

Though yes it is a 32bit prog, but 64bit versions of Windows do support 32bit progs

You may just need to install 32bit/x86 versions of C++ and maybe dotnet aswell

If I was you I would install the 64bit versions of the above first then install the 32bit/x86 versions after

I believe the error is related to C++ though

Both are by microsoft and are free... well the distribution packs are, not the development tools

1, Why test on an emulator if you have the console. (although that is your choice)
2, Is your PC up to the task of playing NullDC
3, Have you ran as admin?

    .

Run norton antivirus or macafee antivirus and check ur comp for viruses....
    that shoudl solve ur problem.

    OR

    Restart you PC.

    OR

Download the latest .NET framework, DirectX and C++

    OR

Restart and run the Registry and Cleaner parts of Ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Thanks for the responses! To answer Darklinky's question, I don't have the console yet. As of this morning, I'm still waiting for it to come in the mail. I wanted to test the discs I'm burning to make sure I'm doing it properly. Okay, so I downloaded and installed C++ like you said, but now it's giving me yet another error message. Now it says "Entry point not found: The procedure entry point ??1_NonReentrantPPLLockHolder@details@Concurrency@ @QAE@XZ could not be located in the dynaminc link library MSVCR100.dll." Is there something else I'm missing? a plugin or dll that it hasn't told me I need? Thanks for all your help guys. I really appreciate it.

To be honest it's not worth using NullDC to test with, some games can't even be booted in NullDC so that will give you wrong message about the game working or not
