GC From is not 100% by any means but many many games work fine.
It may be a help what game you are wanting to try and i can check for you.
I have plenty GC games lol

Kay, some of the titles off the top of my head are:
Ikaruga, F-Zero GX, Megaman Network Transmission, the Sonic games, Billy Hatcher... and this odd thing called Tube Slider.

and obviously all the Ninty franchises: Mario Sunshine, all Zelda, all Metroid, Wario World.

That's just the start... and only GC games.

I'm assuming that there's no problems with Wii games...?

Everyone of my almost 300 games i have on my hdd works fine with the exception of maybe 2, so thats not an issue.

I have the mario games for the cube, they work.
As do the zeldas, with are AWESOME. I even have the N4 games on my wii as well as a psx emulator which i use more now than epsxe.

I will look into the other games you mentioned for you bud.

Nevermind, do it only if you've got time to waste.
I lost the bid, and therefore the console (the only reason I was going to buy it to begin with was the price tag - 1000 vs. 1500, so until there's another in the same level, no Wii for me).

Hey Linky, unless plans change again, I am getting a Wii!
I found another limited edition blue one here where I live, and did win the bid this time.
I'll end up paying 1350 (U$D 314), less than retail price (1600/U$D 372), but still quite a bit more than what I originally planned (1000/U$D 232).

Yes, price tags are THAT harsh. 60 bucks of difference for shipping, and all the rest are fucking taxes.

I have WODE and Ikaruga won't work........well it'll run in demo mode and that's all
Dunno about those other titles.......but if a NGC game won't work using WODE hardmod then it's highly unlikely it'll work with any other mod.

Using WODE (just by itself, with no softmod) means the Wii console functions the same as retail........you can allow updates.

You can, but if you want to play newer games, you have to use GeckoOS as it's the only way to bypass the update screen.

Actually no dude.

Just install everything in my guide and it installs priiloader as well which Blocks Disc updates and internet updates allowing you to play retail also.
