Iirc Missouri is one of the worst puppy mill states in the country. They were advertising around the last election period about a vote to regulate them as apparently they were going almost completely unchecked. Fortunately I didn't see any ads against the vote. God forbid PETA do useful things though.

In all my years w/ SMB I never related the tanooki suit (or frog suit) w/ the skinning of either animal. Now I'll think of that every time I collect a red leaf. Shows you where there heads at. I'll also think of what a foolish orginazation PETA is.

Obviously a campaign tactic, but likely one to have the oppsite affect from what they're lookin for.

Sometimes humanity depresses me. This is one such time.

I mean, rabid idiocy is nothing NEW, but for all that is holy, and throw in all that is unholy as well, why are these people allowed to keep BREATHING?

Oh well, got a few cheap giggles out of it. Then back to depression on realising that they do have members who take this sort of thing at pure face value and completely seriously. Which makes me want to shoot things.
