Default How to mount sonic riders on Dolphin (GameCube)

I have no idea hw to do this, I can get the game to run but all of the characters outside of the cutscenes are pitch black with no color whatsoever.
Also the Emuparadise ROM download has like OVER 9000 Copies of the same file.

What exactly do I do here?

    Which version? specs? settings?

This game should run without much issues with default settings, apart from having minor audio problem and so on.

    im using Dolphin 3.0

My specs, I don't know besides my HD of 500 GB and 2.0 GB of RAM

I do have a fairly powerful processor and the game itself runs fine.
My PC itself is a Cybertron with a ZOTAC motherboard.

Im just uber confused about the 9000 files of the same file.

Do I need to mount them all at once?

I'm kind of a noob with any emulation past Dreamcast\N64

The only custom setting im useing is keyboard controls

9000 files? does the files name ended with part 1, part 2 or something? is it .rar type of file?

Can you post screenshots of these problem you have?

    For the specs,
Press Windows Logo button+R on your keyboard, type DXDIAG, then Save All information.
After that, attach the file you have saved here.

    9000 is a DBZ reference

there are like 17 .rar s that are all called s3-sr and one file called s3-sr.sfv

extract the first rar file only and it will extract all the other parts automaticly aslong as all the files are in the same folder

7-zip can do most formats but if not use WinRAR... between the 2 you can extract most formats of compressed files

    Never extract iso files though

Which graphic plugin did you use? Click the Graphic icon, and post the screenshot.
I assume you're using default settings?

This is likely your main problem, the graphic outcome depends solely on how well your graphic card is,
if it's an integrated card, then some graphic issues are to be expected.

Well do I mount them all with dolphin?

or do they just need to be there, as that would make more sense although the game would be around 17 GB (Not too much of a problem but C&C3 and Oblivion are only 4GB)

Yea pretty much, I messed aroun with the settings in there to no avail so I just reset them, plus I have no idea how to take a win 7 screenshot.

you don't mount them you mount the extracted iso file (gamecube games have sometimes been named *.gcm but those are also iso files)

once extracted you don't need the archive files just what you extract from it (dump the multi files after you get the iso or gcm from them)

P.S. Please try not to double post, just use edit post instead to add any extra info

For screen shots in windows whatever version just press print screen (prt sc/prt scn) then open whatever art prog (paint will do) press ctrl+v or use paste from a right click or the menu, you can save a new pic from there (*.jpg or *.png are smaller formats and recomended if you plan to upload that shot here)

P.S. I came accross a rather interesting prog that fakes what graphics chip set you are using and may help with the graphics glitches

I will try and find that for you...

EDIT: it was called "3D ANALYZER"

    EDIT:
More info about it can be found here

Thats actually kind of awesome, but will it make my computer explode if I play like an ISO of Devil May Cry 4?

and for that matter how to I use it?

For the matter of the mounting the game runs fien, there are soem minor lag issues and audio issues but other than that there is the no skin glitch.

But still how do I chose which of the 17 extracted .gcms to mount? and whats a .sfv? I've never run across that before.

UPDATE: Just extracted them all (at once this time) and it came out with one file even though there are 17 .rars containing each 1 s3-sr.gcm file taking up around 17 GB of memory.

That's what you're supposed to do at start, all the 17 parts came from a single .gcm file, which you should have right now.

17GB? are you sure about that? GC games only sized about 1.4 or so.

The files if I extracted individually would take up 17GB of memory as they are all 1.6 GB each

I rand the file that came out when I extracted the rars all at once and still no body textures.

I don't get whats going on.

Thats not a game for the GameCube

    That are max 1.4GB

And it's not even a DVD image

DVD's are 4.7GB max and DVD dual layer are 9GB max

At a wild guess I would say thats a PS3 game from a blueray disc for it to be 17GB as thats the only disc media that can store that much

Could you PM me or meganova the link for the game so we can check it out ourselves there is something very wrong if thats a GC game and it's that big

    Show me your Graphic settings.

If each parts is 1.6GB, multiply that by 17 parts, then it should be around 20GB+..
Can you post the screenshot of these files?
