    Default Dino Crisis Sound problem

Having issues with the characters' voices skipping. i can play the game fine, but the voice track skipping is annoying and makes it difficult to follow what they're saying. I'm running EPSXE 1.60, and using Eternal SPU 1.10 for my sound emulation. System OS is Windows XP.

Did you try switching to other plugins? Like Pete's sound plugin or the Sound plugin that came with epsxe?
    Great choice of game too.

yeah that was the first thing i attempted. The core plugin has the same problem, and with Pete's I get doubled speech like "Liste Listen, I'll go go on ahead."

What fps do you have ePSXe set up to and what region is the game?

not having the correct fps setup is also another cause of dodgy sound
