Hate to be a pain in the neck but the +R/-R depends on the PS2 hardware some won't read +R at all

I'm another one that will always use +R Verbatim media aswell but it's not unknown for other users to have found em unreadable by there PS2

Amazons own +R DVD's are known to work by me atleast (Not a 3rd party seller but sold by Amazon)

Verbatim as much as any DVD media have more than one type of DVD+/-R

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]
Please can all ESR users post your results here to help with the project and others wanting to use ESR

Go with the +R's they will atleast work with the slims if you are very lucky they will work with all the PS2's you own

If you realy want to be sure grab the ones sold by Amazon uk (not by any 3rd party sellers) I only say this because I know Verbatim have more than one grade of DVD+R and I personly know those are fine and are rather cheap at £16.95 for a 100 spindle with free postage

I Can Deffo agree with this... do not use Ritek discs (or Traxdata) my PS2 Slim could hardly read it burn with same settings on a Verbatim and it was smooth as silk

PS2s are random in what they read, my previous PS2 read anything I burned, the replacement refuses to read any gold top DVDs.

Getting around to it... | Available via Retroshare 16/7.

tesco's brand are not long lasting they burn to ok but they do screw up eventually, well I know the CD's do lol, not actually touched there DVD's, had older burned CD's die off though not through scratches though, not sure perhaps I have not stored them in the best way or something, but they looked faded some had even started to part from the plastic disc, but it was only the tesco's ones effected

oooh i see lol its possible that maybe they were exposed to too much direct sunlight of something i cant think of why the plastic would part from the disc other than extreme heat, maybe it was the way they were made or something, either that or just a bad bunch anywho thanks guys i think this thread has served its purpose

Doesnt beat Traxdata, they save you the time of damaging the DVDR's... 3 spindles in a row... 25 outta 50 in the spindle was Pre Scratched
