None of my bios seem to work

At first i thought it was my game, but then i looked at the memory cards when running the bios, and it didn't even show any form of memory card at all. The emulator i have is ePsxe 1.7.0. The bios i tried to run were

if anyone could tell me the problem and maybe tell me how to fix it that would be great, thank you

Do you have video plugins installed???

Yes, and i have been running games fine but it wont save my game. If it helps the names of the video plugins are: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.17, Pete's D3D Driver 1.76, and Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76. Im not sure if listing these helps, but i did just in case.

Hmmm... Maybe the directory that contains your memcard files is write protected... I have similar problem using PCSX2 on Vista. It just didn't write to files until I run program in an Administrator mode (though I was Admin), or change directory privileges (not sure it worked, but I tried this).

Try configuring your memory card directory manually.
Config -> Memcard -> Select

Then it's not a bios issue, you would not be able to boot a game and bios does indeed boot, just does not show a memcard, you just need to config the memcards, so it has some.

There are other things to try but need to rule out the obvious

i just tried to config the memory card but it isnt even showing that one exists, the only file that is there is delete.me

try again there is an option to create a memcard, like I said you need to config it so it has some.

Naomi is not a dreamcast emu so you require the none Naomi version

asides from that what errors are you getting..

My laptop I was testing on has just packed it , so back on my main one while I sort the other one out if it's fixable, think the bios is screwed on it :/

Ok, go to ePSXe config menu, select Memory Card, and in the top box enter memcards\epsxe000.mcr which is my default entry. I think this should be created by default when you first run a game. The second box should say the same thing except 001.mcr. And you can name the memory cards whatever you want as long as they are .mcr files.

Also, if you have no memory card configured, the BIOS may show the words "memory card" in gray. Not sure if I remember that right. But you won't be able to tell the difference if there is no card in slot 2 as opposed to having an empty card there.

obviously not ment for this thread, can't do anything at the mo both my laptops are dead my post about the memcards is spot on, the dreamcast stuff should be in the sega section, in a bios thread..... psp, does not have the best web browser

The memory card will automatically be created when you run the emulator, just configure it, and put the name for each of the memory card on the browsing window.

Thank you for all the help!! After all the help that you gave me, i realized what the problem was that i didn't convert the delete.me to .mem but i wouldnt have been able to do this with out all your help, thank you very much .

Just glad you got it working, sorry about my Dreamcast related post, both my laptops packed in about that time, on restoring my main laptop, the hdd died on it so had replaced it with an older hdd I ripped from an old broke laptop.
