Default EA or Activision? Pick your Brand War allegiance!

Well, not sure if I have the answer for this one myself. But let's say that for whatever theoretical reason, it came down to ONLY these two brands, and you had to pick one or the other. No double spies; not choosing one or the other means... um... death? I guess? I know a lot of you will hate both brands, so you gotta choose the lesser of two evils.

I'm personally not sure which way I would go... maybe EA even though I dislike them they do have Bioware though

Activision is the worst company to ever exist in gaming; to exploit once good series for money beyond belief. What does Activision have? CoD? Guitar Hero? Tony Hawk? DJ Hero? 007 games?

I could go without any of them, especially since Rock Band is superior to Guitar Hero in every way.

EA has problems, but they have Dragon Age, Dead Space, Rock Band, System Shock 2, and even Mass Effect. I can see the clear winner here.

they're still affiliated with activision, which is good enough for me.

They at least try new IPs from time to time.

Gotta go for EA over Activision.

Ubisoft make the two of them look like Mother Teresa though. Good grief, that company.

If I must choose between these two alone, then Activision.

This is a tough one. When I first began to understand video games and the companies behind them, I would side with EA because they made FIFA and eventually MoH:AA. Activision was responsible for THPS, the first 3 (and only the first 3...) were phenomenal and I played them to death when they came out. The last ten odd years, I have to say I haven't been much for either. They may make 'top selling' games, but I think its because of the way they've been able to brand a few titles which allows them pump out anything knowing people will buy it just cause its CoD, or MoH.

In the end I'm going to have to side with EA. In my opinion, Mass Effect is the best thing thats happened to them in a long time.

    Thats rough man.

Activision is money hungry and is lead by the devil himself Bobby Kotick...

    But EA makes bad games.

Since i can get games for close to free, I am obligated to pick Activision.

If i had to choose between all publishers? I would pick Tecmo.

If I'd have to pick a company to always support, it'd be Blizzard Entertainment.

At present my biggest hatreds in game-land are EA, UbiSoft, and Activision.

Given the topic's subject, if I had to pick between EA and Activision, I think I'd go with EA just because they had one or two games I enjoyed once.
