Help With Daemon Tools and mds files

I have tried looking it up for a long time and I still can't get these to work. I have read the help section on here and its very short. Can one please go through a slow, step by step process of how to do this. Where can I get a free copy of daemon tools as the one I have says it is expired? What do I do with daemon tools? Where do I mount the mds file? What does it mean to mount the mds file? I have epsxe on a windows xp pc. Thanks.

You can get Daemon Tools Lite for free from the official site http://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/dtLite (that is free for home use it is only pay for if you use it commercially, like for a business) it does contain adware but it is up to you to install that ()

If you need an older version (you shouldn't though I might be able to dig a copy out for you) do make sure you install the SPTD drivers though (those are also optional but you will need those for ePSXe to work with it)

At a guess you had a trial version of one the other Daemon Tools packages Daemon Tools Pro rather than just the lite version that is free to use forever.

If you wanted to just convert that mdf/mds then all you need to do is follow the ISObuster guide (it's in that stuck guides post)

I got the free version of daemon tools but what do I do with it and the mds file? ISObuster looks to be used with the discs so I don't need that as I am using files and not discs. I just don't know what I am supposed to do with daemon tools. Thanks.

Look again ISObuster is used for disc images and I know I included how to convert disc images, I did write the guide after all.

ISObuster can convert the mds+mdf to bin+cue (read the guide to do that, read it fully then you will know how it works with disc images to convert them)

D-Tools you just mount the mds <- if that is not what you needed to know, what is it that you don't understand about D-Tools Lite (only good for games with CDDA tacks otherwise not needed) [CDDA = Compact Disc Digital Audio aka Music CD tracks]

I am using ISObuster like you show in the screen shot. But I am confused about " or open a CD image (via it's descriptor file [*.ccd *.cue ect ect]) with ISOBuster, then right click on CD then". I have a compressed file with a mds and mdf file. Which one gets put into ISObuster? I have made some .bin files but they don't run in epsxe. Any more help and I thank you sir.
