    Default VBA says "your save data is corrupted"

    I'm trying a "Super mario advance 4, super mario bros. 3" rom, and it opens with the visualboy logo and says "your save data is corrupted." I try another version of the rom, same thing. a third (all from this site) and same thing. I try a Zelda rom (minish cap) and it works fine. It's just the mario roms that don't work, what am I doing wrong?

    vba-over.ini should fix your problem:

    Make sure to follow these instructions, or vba-over.ini will NOT work:

    To use this file extract it into the same folder as VBA, then set the Save in VBA to automatic and Flash 64k, also remove saves from games that did not work correctly then restart the emulator for the changes to take effect

    What this file does is auto setup games that do not autodetect correctly

    Games Fixed so far:-

    * Rock n' Roll Racing (U)+(E)
    * Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (J)+(U)+(E)
    * Dragon Ball Z - The Legacy Of Goku (U)+(E)
    * Dragon Ball Z - Buu's Fury (U)
    * Pokemon Emerald (J)+(U)+(I)+(G)+(F)+(S)
    * Pokemon Fire Red (J)+(U)
    * Pokemon Leaf Green (J)+(U)
    * Pokemon Ruby (J)+(U)+(E)
    * Pokemon Saphire (J)+(U)+(E)
    * Super Mario Advance 4 (U)+(J)+(E)
