Default Three ISOs, all go splat

    Starlancer

    Evolution (First one)

    Street Fighter Alpha 3

Tried bootdisk, burned them like any other of the million and a half games, but no dice. Any known issues?

All are CDI, I used the latest Alcohol 120, and then with SFAlpha3 I converted it to NRG and burned it in Nero 5.10.

Convertin is never a good idea, specially Dreamcast images but if all else fails mount with Deamon tools or alcohol and do a Copy CD burn

Personly I use Nero or Disc Juggler

P.S. are you emulating or using a good olde dreamcast??

Considering how unusual the disk structure is for DC games, I would bet that the conversion is what killed your ISOs.

Well that's funny because all most of the other ones that i used worked just peachy. And yes, I am actually using my lovely DC.

I'm assuming so, on the Raw Dao mode. Anyway, considering the stack of successes I'm having, these little flubs aren't really that much of a setback, I'll give CloneCD a shot

I don't know why so many people have bother with DC ISO's, in my whole time with a DC, I've only burnt about 10 coasters, and 300 or so working DC games...

I don't think CloneCD works with DC ISO's.

Even if it does, I doubt the disc will be self-boot.

Alcohol, Nero 5x and DiscJuggler are recommended for DC.

CCD images are multisession, it's just not a good choice for the disc images. That's why most people use CDI/MDF/NRG.

CloneCD works quite well with DC ISOs. I've used it on hundreds of them.

But, as a standard, CDI is what everyone uses.

Only come accross one bad burn problem.... it was the cd image though then

I tend to mount ccd & mdf images though and just do a Copy CD in either Nero or Disc Juggler but the reason I do that is because I own Nero 5 anyway and Disc Juggers demo does for the cdi images

Most other image formats will be single session none selfbooting images ( there are very few games now that have not been made selfboot/can't be made selfbooting )

Yeah I know ccd images can be dual sessions even though the format is the same as bin images even though bin's can't hold dual sessions

A single session *.img ( ccd ) is not different to a standard *.bin file apart from the junk sectors between tracks.

Could that of been the reason behind your thinking?

I don't use CloneCD if I'm re-ripping an image, I use MDF/CDI, I only started using CDI, did not have a clue how to use DiscJuggler before.
