Has anyone run this on a 512MB backup device? And if so, does it work? I have a CD64 but sadly they only go up to 256MB and my comp can't run N64 emulators very nicely.

So.. yeah, this is a n64 emulation question, right? I need to know where to move it.
I don't know you, you're not my friend.
I'm full of good ideas..
The toy you will prolly want is the Doctor V64jr
Can't say I have any of the devices though myself so not tested
The devices I know of are
- Doctor V64 - the big white thing ( not too different to the CD64 )
- Doctor V64jr - the red thing
- Mr. Backup Z64 - the nice lookin black thing
- CD64 - what you have anyway
There is info on the first 3 options here
P.S. these are hard as hell to get hold of now

Where can you find this Zelda Beta Rom?
I never tried Zelda at all on mine when I had it, but Ill comment that the JR can be found for 150-200 pretty easily
The normal Zelda games are 256mbits, i presume the beta would be the same. I have had OOT running on my V64 a long time ago, it involved boot loaders and certain carts to be plugged into the N64 before it loaded. But like i said, it was a long time ago and there might be an easier way to boot it now. It is easier to pick up a 2nd hand cart and an N64.
