There's already a complete NTSC-U set at Underground-lamer, so it's not hard to get the US ones. The Jap ones is a good case of scowering Sega Palace. And for the PAL ones...

Original RAR fanboys make me sick. There nothing wrong with burning a game to disc, testing it, and then putting it in a CD album for archival purposes. Re-ripping and compressing a game takes nothing away from it.

No. Very true. If you just want to collect a few games on CD-R then repacks are fine, whatever you get first eh? But when you're a collector of original RAR's I think it's best the games you get are original RAR's, don't you?

    Well, let's see...

I have 705 discs in my DC collection, two being DVD+R's with multiple archives of games that require 99min CD-R's. So, I have a total 709 games. Most games average +/- 500MB compressed, so that is in excess of 3.5 Terabytes of storage required.

I don't have that kind of room, and I like my collections to be uniform, so I went with a format that was actually attainable.

Now, one could go the route of burning the OG Rar's to a disc, but that would substantially increase the amount of total discs one would have to archive, unless one does not enjoy playing any of the games...then one wouldn't be a Dreamcast fan, would they?

Well most of my Dreamcast collection is burnt to CD-R so I can enjoy it. Like all of the games lol. I keep the RAR's on DVD so that I can share them at Sega Palace..That's about the only reason I have them, nowadays. Sega Palace = More games!

Btw: I've been a hardcore Dreamcast fan since 1999. Got one on launch date. But my mam ran the phone bill up with the internet and took it back! HOW INCONSIDERATE!!?!?!?!???/?, I like got another a few years later, paying like £10 for games.... Got another in the spring, burnt 300+ DC games never been happier with a £20 console. =D

Glad to see you actually play

That's the reason I don't like Sega Palace. Too 'high and mighty' for me. I guarantee you they'd drop the attitude if I shared some of my hard to find JAP releases there, OG or not.

But, I won't. People know where to find me

Nope. They'd kick you because they're not original RAR's. Some one had 600GB of DC games, not original release. He was banned.

Yes. I do play, but not a lot, mainly I collect them. Moving onto the Jap games now. Since I've got almost all NTSC-U games (not much of an achievement, but whey!)

I do occasionally have a game of Dead Or Alive 2, SF3:3rd Strike, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Sonic Adventure 1, Jet Set Radio and / or MSR. :>
