Hi there I just got Sonic CD from emuparadise and the sound files with It as well. How do you merge the mp3 sound files to the ISO Image? I am using the Fusion 3.4 emulator. Thanks.

You don't merge anything.
Just make sure the iso and mp3 files are all properly named, and all in the same folder.
Should be named something like:
Sonic.iso
Sonic 02.mp3
Sonic 03.mp3
Sonic 04.mp3
etc.
Then start the game by running the iso.
Kega Fusion should find the mp3's on it's own.
At least that's how it works with GENS. I haven't tried Fusion yet, but I'm sure it works the same way as GENS.
Well, try it and see if I'm right.
SegNin I did everything you said and I still can't hear the background music and I also try gens and that was the same Issue again. The game runs no problems at all and I can hear the sound effects no problem as well. Is there anyway I could get the music to work? I am greatful for your help thanks.
Can you upload your .cue file? And give us the exact name of all the other files. We'll be able to build a working cue for you.
The Image Is In a ISO format and not In a Bin and a Cue file format and the MP3 music name are for example:-
SonicCD.iso
02 - Music
03 - Music
04 - Music
Thats whats In my folder at the moment I downloaded It from emuparadise main download page.
Forget the Fusion 3.4 emulator, just use GENS.
Forget Gens Fusion will work just fine just make a cue sheet for it
you can do that by hand in notepad
or you can do that the easy way with Sega Cue Maker seen as it can create mp3 cue sheets
Fusion has better support than Gens by the way specially if you plan to play Sega CD-32X games aswell

So, you do need a cue sheet for Kega Fusion; I didn't know that.
I've always liked GENS, but now I'm going to try out Kega Fusion, especially if you say it's better than GENS for cetain games, Zorlon.
Btw, Kega Fusion got updated to 3.51 a few days ago:

I don't know about every game I only play what I want to play apart from when I'm testing things out, but I do know that Fusion can run Sega CD-32X games and Gens just can't, Fusion is possibly the only one to be able to run those CD-32X games, it was the first to anyway, yeah I'm a little behind the times at the moment.
Edit:
Oh I just remembered something there used to be Sega CD compat lists around so there may be an up to date one listing what works on what and what doesn't
Edit2:
Not up to date though but Kega.... now Kega Fusion has had alot of updates since then, basicly Gens and Kega were about the same on compat (Gens was the best for a while aswell with some great updates) until Kega became Kega Fusion and added CD-32X that was previously unemulated.
LOL they are the people hosting Fusion though but claim Fusion is the best now and its been updated a hell of alot since then aswellOriginally Posted by http://www.eidolons-inn.net/old/sega/segacd_comp.html

Oh sorry thanks SegNin for the update on Kega Fusion 3.5
Your welcome.
And thanks to Zorlon for the info about Kega Fusion, but according to the Fusion readme:
So, it can play games the same way that GENS does, in the way I described before: without needing a cue file.Fusion supports ISO+MP3 and ISO+WAV for SegaCD. For this feature to work
the ISO and MP3s or WAVs need to be in the same folder, and they need to be
named correctly.
If your ISO file (which is track 1 on a CD) is named example.iso then the
MP3s/WAVs need to have the same name, followed by a two digit track number,
and then the MP3 or WAV extension. E.G:
example.iso (this would be track 1 on a CD)
example 02.mp3 (because the first audio track is track 2 on a CD)
example 03.mp3
example 04.mp3 (etc.etc.)
A common problem is having "hide extensions for known file types" set in
Windows Folder options. This means that your files will end up being named,
for example, 02.mp3.mp3 - and therefore not loaded - because you cannot
see the final mp3 extension.
Finally, Fusion uses the Windows MP3 Codec to decode MP3s. If your codec is
missing or damaged you need to reinstall it. Google should help you find an
MP3 ACM codec installer.
At least according to the readme it can.
