Street Fighter Alpha 3 Torrent Problems...

Ok. So I just downloaded a Street Fighter Alpha 3.rar file from the Emuparadise bit torrent. Now that its on my desktop how the hell do i make this thing playable ? (either as an iso or burned to a disk). Do i run it through Daemon tools or iso buster or am I totally mixed up? My ePSXe plays games fine when the actual cd is in the cd drive, but like most everyone else, i'm trying to collect more games. Somebody help me out here!

Well extract the image file inside the compressed file you dled in order to run it in the emu.
What kind of file did you dl?

I've just checked it, its a .rar file, so use WinRar to extract.

Extract rar file first using WinRar. (Image files shoud be inside).
Then use either Daemon Tools to mount the Image into virtual drive
or Use File->RunISO option if the file is in standard Image format (iso, bin, img)

First off you use WinRAR to extract the .rar file.

After that you can play the ISO on ePSXe if it's a .iso, .bin or .img file by usin the run ISO option. If not you can mount it with DAEMON Tools 3.47 or use ISOBuster to convert the ISO to .bin format.

If you use DAEMON Tools to mount the ISO you have to choose the run CDRom option with ePSXe. The reason I say to use 3.47 of DAEMON Tools is because it has the option to enable analog audio which you should use when playing ISOs with ePSXe if you get missing sound.

For PSX emulation I recommend
ePSXe 1.60
One of Pete's plugins for your video plugin. http://www.pbernert.com/html/gpu.htm If you have a newer video card try Pete's OpenGL2 PSX GPU for 3D games, if not use one of Pete's Windows OGL/D3D PSX GPUs(OpenGL if you have an nvidia card or D3D otherwise). For 2D games use P.E.Op.S. Soft GPU.
P.E.Op.S. DSound PSX SPU or Eternal SPU v1.41 for your sound plugin.

If you want to play the game on a real console you have to have a mod-chip, a boot disc or use the swap trick.

The game works great....perfect color and control with minimal slowdown. Downloading from this bit torrent takes a hell of a long time though. And I can only seem to download one at a time. Are there any other really good sources that you recommend I download from? Thanks a lot for the help.
