Default Best fps cutoff for FF Tactics

Lately, I've had problems with FFT speeding up, and was wondering what I should cap the fps limit to. It keeps getting around the 145s.

No they shouldn't, do that with some European games and they not only go out of sync but some will out right crash

Presuming this is the PSX version running through ePSXe set Auto-detect FPS on and FPS limit on that way it detects if the game is NTSC 60 or PAL 50 and caps the speed to what it should be, you can find those setting in config then Video then config.

Did you tab out of ePSXe at any point?

If you do this will sometimes cause the FPS to jump all over the place, forcing FPS to 50 or 60 manually will not stop that, but it can still be fixed

Just hit del then home then end and del again on your keyboard

del brings up the video plugin ingame gui, then home and end turn off and back on the fps limit so all is fine again, the last del will turn the gui off again

I sometimes get effected by that if I'm soft hacking a game using Pec's Cheat Hacking Unit
