Yeah, sorry. I PM'ed you, but once I played the game more, it was kind of translated Japanese version, it was mostly in English, but some things in Japanese, so it wasn't any real version.
Have you seen me before?
You can also get it here.
(Right-click and Save as...)
Just incase it's slow/down/whatever.
I've downladed two or three different versions of this game, but when I try to run it, all I get is a white screen that never goes away. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? The versions I've downloaded have been from links all provided at this site
My version works fine with VisualBoy Advance.
Be sure the save type is set to Automatic and Flash128k.
To check this, go into Options->Emulator->Save type.
This rom doesn't require the use of a bios file, i however recommend using one to minimize possible errors.
Do not apply the patch nor extract it. The patch is the .ips file.
actually the patch worked for me and it fixed the clock problem...
the patched destroyed the rom the first time I downloaded. I don't know why it's needed though it seems to save and work fine on vba and my xrom flashcart without it.
Same for me, that's why i said not to apply the patch. It showed a black screen whenever i was applying the patch to the rom and flashing it to my xrom.
The RTC seems fine too.
Try to download the game trough my link, maybe it will work, it did for me...
or maybe you didn't patch it correctly? Here is a link for the prog I used:

You don't need to actually patch the game using VisualBoy Advance
All you do is name the patch file so it matches the rom file excluding the extention
so if your game is named
1986 - Pokemon Emerald (U)(TrashMan).zip containing
1986 - Pokemon Emerald (U)(TrashMan).gba
or
1986 - Pokemon Emerald (U)(TrashMan).gba
then you patch file should be named
1986 - Pokemon Emerald (U)(TrashMan).ips
the ips should be stored in the same folder as the rom
What VisualBoy Advance does after that is patch the game on the fly when you play it but the rom file is not changed
I spose this is more usfull for those that use both flash cards that can play the game correctly without patches and use VisualBoy Advance
Personly I have a EZFA card so I don't need to patch the Pokemon games at all

It might be a problem with trashman's dump... again, try to download from my link and see if that works for you
Like i said, i had no problem playing the game w/o the patch, and it scambled when i've put the patch. So i don't see the point in patching it, really.
Didn't the game say something about dry battery and time events?
What is a ezfa card and wher can i get one
