GBA Emulator with link support here

Compatability not as high as VBA, and link support only working with 2 instances on one machine (no netplay AFAIK).

Not tried it myself.

No$Gba is old and i think it only supports homemade demos and some weird redumps.

Edit->Someone misinformed me as no$gba works with usual roms. Not zipped thought .

Thats not missinformed just old news, but they have just updated it though very recently.

Seems to work with a few games - but not that compatable. Still be nice if this code can help the person who is continuing VBA to support a similar method of linking.

Yeah, the fact the someone managed to implement it is VERY nice, even if it's not on the greatest emulator.

I tried Zelda 4S. What i'm doing wrong? (Since there is no help included).

I open the emulator and choose the rom. I go under Emulation Setup then I make the Number of Emulated GB ->2. I hit ok. I go back to my playing, bring the 2 games at the point it's supposed to connect. It doesn't, always waiting. Any clue?

Same here or it crashes the rom depending on how I set it up, either way it's not working with that rom, yet

Yeah, it doesn't support 4 Swords. However it's nice to see at least someone has figured out how to create linking.

it's not that new it' has had link support for a long time just it only realy supported PD roms then.

so what is new is that it will play the official games, and yeah link support has been retuned and the gui has been updated amounst other stuff

Creating the link isn't a major problem (on the same machine) - what I did try to tell a lot of people a while back though, that over a network (and particularly) the internet wasn't feasible at the moment.

I have little doubt this will eventually filter down to VBA.

On a side note, it is interesting that this has some sort of Printer Port support (Presuming for transfer between PC and GBA hardware), personly my GBA flash card uses USB but there are Printer Port ones aswell.

I would love to see that type of support done and I'm sure that is more likley than network support as things are now.

Well I must say Im impressed, I played mario kart and it ran totally fine with 2 players, awesomeness. Now I will keep trying other games
