On the hardware side, I bought a SEGA Dreamcast and a VMU.

Well, there are eventually two options for having a rogue in your party, with the first one coming along right around the first town you visit. I wasn't especially fond of either of them though, so it was nice to be able to leave them in camp with a rogue PC.

Just bought Half-Life for 10 euros. Yes, I realise I"m really bloody late in getting a game that more or less EVERYONE has played. I just never got into it, but recently a mate gave me HL2 over steam, and I liked it. Now I want to see what came before

HL1 is generally considered better than 2. But more out of it's impact on games than it's actual gameplay.

Anyway, I payed off my copy of Dragon Age 2.

Just bought Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective ($35.99 CAN) and I was not dissapointed by the gameplay infact I say it was original, nor the story which I found to be incredible! Although the length of the game dissapointed me, that could have just been because of my nonstop gameplay. Anyone who is a fan of Ace Attorney should check it out!

I totally agree. I just bought the game for around 40$ and I beat it in two days. It was a ton of fun, but I wish it would have been longer or at least had some extra levels.

I paid off Super Street Fighter IV, Ridge Racer, and Pilotwings Resort for the 3DS. I also picked up a copy of Okamiden today. Apparently it's not supposed to go on sale until next Tuesday.

EDIT: Word has it that Capcom went ahead and allowed early sales, or so I've heard. Which is understandable given that the 3DS comes out pretty soon here. It would be a shame for this game to be swallowed up by that thing's launch. Okami deserves attention.
