Need help please

I have d/l kawaks plus metal slug and i have the bios in the roms folder. I have looked up infomation everywhere and tried everything but cant get the rom to work.. i have also d/l about 3 different metal slug roms just incase one wasnt working, i've tried renaming the roms to what it says to in the kawaks faq, and also tried to use ROMCENTER but cant make head nor tail of it.

i've just about had enough!!

If someone would be so kind to upload there folder of kawaks and the metal slug series all renamed and setup working i would be VERY gratefull.. if you could i will pm you my server details.

I will be able to sort something out for you for your help!

what system is this for and what emulator are you using?

System=Neo-Geo

I'm not the best one to help out with Arcade games though, plus he seems to have done everything I would have recomended doing anyway.

For some reason, I've always had difficulty getting kawaks to work under win2k..

I think it needs some compatibility mode. (Same with WINXP.. I *think*)

Also, if that isn't the problem, you will often find that different dumps lead to different emulators.

For example, for the ROM you have obtained, KAWAKS may not be the right emulator to play it, but instead it may be NeoRage or Nebula.

do you know where to get a metal slug rom that works with KAWAKS then???

You need to join there forum to DL from them, but there is no post requirments or anything silly like that.

When you go to DL the Roms goto the heading Arcade and click Arcade Recent Emus then click on WinKawaks v1.47b and look for you rom there, they should already be named correctly aswell.
