Default What plugins should i use for Espxe?? And a question about vgs

Ok i can't get espxe working right so i'm guessing i have the wrong plugins. Here are my specs

    Compaq Persario
    AMD Athlon XP2000+
    1.67GHZ
    224 MB of ram

Also i got vgs it works good but for some reason it will keep freezing for maybe 5 secs then resume with the game as normal. It works fine but that freezing for 5 secs really slows up the game. Anyone know how i can stop it from freezing??

    Just for the CVGS Q

ISO your game then use Daemon tools to read the ISO and CVGS to run it.

Daemon Tools is a CD Drive emu that reads ISO instead of CD and reads em alot smoother than CD drives tend to.

Actully what game are you running on it or is it all games?

People will be wanting to know what your Graphics card is aswell

I am using daemon tools. The only iso i have on my comp is parappa the rapper. I just tried 2 of my original psx games and using my cd drive. Lunar 2 and resident evil 2. All of them will freeze from time to time for about 5 seconds then resume with the game. Anyone know whats wrong. This is with using cvgs. Still haven't gotten espxe to work. I guess i have the wrong plugins or something.

The 5 sec freezing is a new thing to me maybe it's just a bad version, so try getting it again if it's not that there is no way that I can help you realy, like I said in your other thread there are no settings to mess with.

For ePSXe you can try using the following:-

Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.2 (Pete's Software driver is better for some depending on the game and your gaphics card)
    P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.7
ePSXe comes with it's own CDR drivers anyway
Not sure if you need the bios but it can be set aswell (If it is needed I recomend using SCPH1001)

Ok i'll try to download and reinstall it again to see if that works. As for espxe i got Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.5 and when i choose it it says "no wgl extestions" and nothing will play. What does that mean?

I'm guessing you don't have compatable hardware try a D3D driver instead or even a Software driver if that don't work either
