    Default ClrMAMEPro question

In ClrMAMEPro is it possible to create a new DAT file using the original DAT file? In the new DAT file filtering of roms up to the year 2001, only 1 rom per game with the best dump for each region (World, USA, Japan, Europe) no hacks, no proto, no beta, the only hacks to keep are the Street Fighter II hacks but roms above 2001 keep only the roms from KOF 2001 to KOF 2005

If I have the DAT file of a console or MAME, is it possible to create my own custom DAT for 1 ROM of each game with the best dump for each region (1 world ROM, 1 USA ROM, 1 Japan ROM, 1 Europe ROM), in the case of MAME, all the official games released up to 2001 and exclude the rest, including all hacks, proto, bad, and other useless ones? Should I keep only the hacks of the versions of Street Fighter 2 and not exclude KOF from 2001 to 2005 (1 ROM for each region)?

Please help me make this selection. I have MAME 0.273 merged.
