    If you go back earlier there's
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hobbit_(1977_film)
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Re...ng_(1980_film)

    They're both shit IIRC, but why not watch them anyways?

    I'm just going to say The Flight of Dragons because that's a movie I forgot existed and enjoyed when I found it. 5% chance it's what you're looking for though
    yes it was directed by Ron Howard https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096446/?ref_=sr_t_1 I'll be looking for it.
    oh so there was 2 and the 1st was older than I thought. The Flight of Dragons isn't it but I might have seen it when I was a kid.

    Which films are you after? Willow, or the 3 animated ones?

    hard to remember much about it since I only seen it once.
    Sounds like The Hobbit.

    Selling my house in Key Largo to rent a house in Miami where I don't have to shoot crackhead thieves for stealing from me and trespassing turned out to be better move than I thought it would be, landlord likes my style and that I help him with repairs, plumbing and as electrician. I'm self sufficient and he wants me to stick around as a tenant so he lowered my rent 20% because his previous tenants were destructive and needed constant repair so he thanks me often for the difference.

    At least you can shoot burglars in the US. Here in the UK you can get jailed for defending your home from thieves.

    It's pretty much he same here, using "excessive" force to defend yourself means you'll get hit with manslaughter as a minimum.
    Excessive translates as being anything greater that what is being used against you.
    Like;
    The attacker has a small knife and you use a gun to kill him.
    The attacker is unarmed and you use any sort of weapon (even improvised like kitchen implements or tools like a screwdriver) to kill him.

    You can get away with using a bat or something to defend yourself, but you really need to try to incapacitate and not kill your assailant.
    This can be difficult if the attacker is high on methamphetamines... they usually just keep coming at you if they're still conscious.
