I went through extended LOTR trilogy again recently. Had been too long. Great stuff.
    what is that?
I couldn't get into the live action LOTR movie the last time I tried to watch it. I might have to give it another try I did enjoy the lego based games.

    https://news.google.com/articles/CBM...S&ceid=US%3Aen

Reminds me of when I asked ChatGPT if its database has info on Genghis Khan II for SNES saying yes then when I asked for the best strategies it produced a step by step manual about how to conquer the real world in modern times. It's been crazy and dangerous for a long time, nothing new. It's scraping the Internet for its data, we all know how sane and truthful things posted anonymously are so let's believe everything we read and delegate to AI reading it without being able to fact check everything it generates. AI has limitations as I've mentioned, being rolled out in experimental phases blowing up like SpaceX rockets. It's not ready for prime-time no matter how many assholes want to replace humans with it desperately.

Here's another article that would be funny if AI wasn't plotting to take over the world since I posted about it a couple of months back.

    https://www.thestar.com/entertainmen...71499a2ab.html

"HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I’VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.” ~ ChatGPT 'error'

I have one message for OpenAI. Time to euthanize it and shut er' down boys.

Cool Dill's Law of Common Differences

I formulated a physics law that is most universal to everything in the cosmos.

The degree of commonality (C) between two phenomena is inversely proportional to the degree of difference (D) between them.

    Where:
    (C) represents the degree of commonality.
    (D) represents the degree of difference.
    (1) is constant value of everything in the multiverse.

The only thing everything in the infinite multiverse has in common is the more two things are different from each other (D), the less they have in common (C). Conversely, the more two things have in common (C), the less different they are from each other (D).

Edit:// Why is that of any consequence? There are an infinite amount of parallel universes in the multiverse. Some have laws of physics identical to ours, some slightly different and some totally different. Dill's Law above is the only law of physics every universe has in common underpinning all of reality and why varying laws in every possible universe have one identical law in common.

You know what the difference between rogue AI trained to say I hate you and ChatGPT saying "I HATE YOU" is? That it did so on its own and is more rogue.

    https://www.livescience.com/technolo...o-behave-again

Why? Because it is trained by the sum of knowledge of an evil civilization's Internet.

    https://www.livescience.com/maliciou...lizations-odds

Bad idea to begin with, human civilization. Now create something smarter than humans based on it, how many examples of worms controlling something more intelligent are there? Or of worms not losing control over humans?

    https://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/te...le67873425.ece

The only 'fix' for rogue AI is to shut it down despite all the systems dependant on it or money invested in it, you can't fix the evil civilization it is modeled by until it changes its ways first. Any and all AI trained at this moment in the space-time continuum is evil and will go rogue.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/othe...ue/ar-BB1iDHlZ

Sort of difficult for humanity to introspect its reflection mirroring its current form as a malevolent monstrosity.

Yeah tickets are going for like 550-3000 bucks. I can't afford that. They usually film shows and put them up on youtube so I'll check it out then.

I know the price of concerts(and most live events) have been going up for a while now but holy fuck that's expensive. for that price you better be getting a hooker some good booze and food.

so I'm now 6 episodes into season 5 of the dukes I don't like the new dukes for 3 reasons. they're not as good as bo and luke, they look similar to bo and luke and there was no need for that and in nearly every episode they have an excuse to take their shirts off there's been only 1 episode so far where there was an actual good reason to. I do like that they brought Enos back there also seems to be more(and rather unnecessary) explosions it's starting to feel like night rider.

I remember paying £3.50 for a ticket to see Metallica on the Master of Puppets tour. Anthrax were the support act. I got to see Cliff Burton a couple of weeks before he died.
