    the 2nd and 3rd links are somewhat relevant to what I was wondering. but what I'm wanting to know is the compatibility of old(er) games through wine as well as modding tools.

    Not already mentioned is WineTricks using prefixes to make old 32-bit apps and newer apps run on Linux.

    On an unrelated note, this world is fucked up and since I don't have a spaceship to find another one to live at I'm old enough to where dying of natural causes is normal.
