Alien Resurrection can be used as a PS1 boot disc, with no mods. Just a bunch of button clicks.

Skip to around 7 minutes to see.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Interesting, it may be possible to hack the ISO as a rip that is a boot disc. Or do you need the original copy official disc?

There are many better boot discs/methods. This is only interesting because it's baked into secret code of a retail legitimate game.

Weird that it's a secret code, weirder still is how it was discovered.

I just saw that vid. Pretty cool. Although can't you use a Gameshark or Action Replay disc to boot burned games?

Yeah that PS1 thing is pretty cool but not really practical at this point. Tony Hax is easier once set-up.

I haven't conquered the Old World with Baybars in Genghis Khan II yet, he'd do well in Japan with samurai to recruit which can't be hired from merchants in combination with his Islamic units as emperor of Nippon. I want to play P T.O. Pacífic Theater of Operations for Sega Saturn too, I like KOEI games and haven't played that version yet. I've played every other version of P.T.O. II.

Edit:// Baybars was sultan of Egypt, he defeated the crusaders of Europe and the Mongols in battles. Only warlord of his caliber during his time was Genghis Khan, they used similar tactics.

it is weird. I wonder if they were just trying a bunch of random inputs or if they found it in the game code.

it is cool and you're right there re better methods and cheaper ones. I read that shortly after this got posted yesterday people were already scalping the game disc on ebay.

Only the parts where Giorgio says aliens.

Edit:// what's important is history in the making, a second unbiased opinion from artificial intelligence and a historic double Whopper with doublepluscheese.

Arnold: But what is important is Gravity.
