Looks like you'd have to compile Solfege to use it.

What I would post if this were a typical elitist gaming forum.

I play guitar and I can't really read sheet music. I can read guitar tabs. Rocksmith is great if you wanna play real guitar.

so these are the keyboards I was thinking about
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/166061542234
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/304241650303
I was looking more at the 2nd one since it's the cheaper of the two but the 1st one looks a little better(quality wise) and has more features for a little bit more.
which do you guys think is the better one to get as a starter?

The 61 key is probably the better choice seeing it's only $4/20% more. Short of Facebook/Craigslist/garage sales/thrift store/etc. you probably won't do any better. With enough searching of them you might find something from KORG, Roland, or Yamaha for cheap though.

Looks like they go for pretty cheap. More than Chinese junk if they offer shipping though . It's a wonder how the Chinese sellers make anything on stuff like this. I'm not knowledgeable on music keyboards but you may as well get MIDI in/out if you spend more.

I presume it can be powered by batteries since it has a compartment for it. The power requirement is on the KB though (9v positive center negative). I posted them as examples since you mentioned Casio .
