    Default Issue with VBA input

For the last decade and a few more years, I've been emulating GBA with Shift as the A button, which was never an issue.
Recently, however, when I use shift, it started causing trouble, the emulator starts behaving like any key pressed together with shift is perma-pressed (as in: if I jump while holding left, character will be stuck walking left from then on).
This doesn't happen on any other emulator of any other system (I use Shift as X on playstation, etc).
I've checked if it has anything to do with Sticky keys, but it's not.

Roll back your keyboard driver, you did not mention what device or OS you're using but that may solve the issue. Try restoring to a point before the error occured if rolling back the driver didn't work. You should also try updating the keyboard driver if rollback and restore don't work. When I do maintenance I also scan and fix registry errors, it's safe to assume if there is nothing wrong with the hardware or the drivers it might be the registry needs repair.

Thanks. Unfortunately, none of that did the trick. It's a Samsung notebook with Windows 10 btw.

I noticed I had different versions of the VBA for my notebook and for my PC. I had one of the recent updates on my notebook's VBA while my home computer's PC had the 1.8.0 version. I copied the 1.8.0 version to my notebook and the problem didn't happen again.

Maybe it's something with the emulator's recent iterations?

If I had known you're using Windows 10 I would have suggested using an older version of VBA. Glad this issue is resolved!

Are you running in compatibility mode? If not you should try it. https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge...8-1-windows-8/
