Missing XBOX fixes
I just wanted to leave a post here. Zorlon has done a lot of work with the video mode and HDD patches posted in this forum.
Because all his original threads were closed I am posting in a new thread here to mention a few games which Zorlon has not created patches for yet need them in order to play from the HDD.
As of this time I have found 3 additional games that needed some type of fix/patch in order to load properly from the HDD :
- Fight Club - Without a fix the game only allows play in "Arcade mode" and you will die after one hit. Also states you need original disc.
- Greg Hasting's Tournament Paintball Max'd - Game won't load at all (black screen)
- Scooby Doo: Unmasked - Game loads but after starting actual game after first story animation sequence you will get a dirty disc error.
Anyway - I just wanted to post this here for posterity since this site seems to be the main one people probably find when they are searching for game fixes for the OG Xbox.
Here are the 3 fixes - simply replace the files with these and all should work.
