How can I choice french lenguage in GTA San adreas

Hi I'm french boy.
I'm sorry if my english is not correct !

I downloaded GTA San Andreas on this web site but when I open it with PCSX2, the game is in spain and I don't know how can I select french language.
It's the same for Need for speed most wanted and other game.

Have you got a solution ?

If the EU or E version does not have a language selection you would need to boot the bios and set that to the language of choice

The US or U version only has English though

^^ it's possible IF the 'patch' matches the version of dump, yes.
i haven't looked into it, and in truth, way above myself, others here can assist.
the post above refers to setting the language at the bios level.
again, not something i've tried, BUT failing that, try other ps2 bioses, and set language there.
when ps2's are at factory defaults (or internal clock battery is dead) a language for the console region is expected to be set.
SO, KILL all ps2 european bios settings, and create a bios profile specific to multi-x games that DON'T allow language selection at the game gui.

as for the question, anything is possible, if:
1, you have a verified version of GTA-SA.
2, the patch is known to work if applied by it's included instructions. (ppf scripts are one type of item patch)
3, the patch and the retail dump versions match, so there's minimal errors, if any.

the nature of the question means it'll be a hack, totally non-official, like some game fan-rebuilds are.

look for your emu bios defaults, and take it from there.

It is possible that the game is bad iso!
I can't touch the bios because I play on my real ps2 ! I do a game backup

Hummm, it's not for my PS2, it's for the game !
My bios ps2 is in french no problem but I download GTA SA, NFS and other game in PAL version but it's impossible to select french language.

the info you've provided is thin at best.
look for a known DL source of the game, and check that image via redump.org.
if it matches, you're at fault.
if it doesn't, then you have a bad image, or a version NOT yet catalogued.

looked on the tube, and language settings can be found, but only the computer versions of GTA-SA, didn't post em on account of the difference.
look in the game gui/options, and see if the language can be set up there.
just can't be arsed to unwrap my retails, and try, but i hazard a guess i should have no troubles there if i did..

Woooa, redump is really cool.
What do I have to check ?
When I check the image via deamon tool on my PC, I find "TEXT" with french language.. I don't know why I can't change this in game !

are you referring to a retail disk?
if so, shouldn't worry about it, doubt scratches are an issue.
usually, folks only ask about playing rips/dumps, rarely on the 'legit'.
okay, all redump does, is keep track of known retail disk dumps.
a hashtag database, nothing more.
it's for users (whoever) to check their dumps against.
if they get a match, all was well their side.
i use em as reference to make sure my retail disks are backed up properly.
...
1, get dvddecryptor (FREE) and install it.
2, create a dvd-iso of the GTA-SA retail disk, call the output image what you want.
3, when the dumping is complete (dvddecryptor relinquishes control of the computer disk drive) create a hashtag of the dump...
4, ... using hkSFV, also for FREE! (install hkSFV, and right-click over the iso and select 'create md5/sfv' and run it.)
5, when you have a generated hashtag, (md5/sfv) open it in a text editor and look for a numerical string like this example: Download Links:

it matches their db, so it was safe for me to up it at...

in theory, you should be safe anyway if using a retail disk with NO scratches..that was never the issue anyway.

Had a look at my copy of the game (retail EU copy) it has language options in the Options Menu.

^^ decided to smash my head against the wall confirming the above using my retail disk, took forever booting up from optical drive, christ... Download Links:
