Click on restore default on every one of the settings pages you posted.

    Run in software mode.

I don't know exactly what you mean by loading the iso in the browser. Don't use the ps2 browser at all. Load the game and boot fast. That will skip the internal ps2 browser thing.

Also stupid question but: you do have the ps2 version of the game and extracted properly right?

I have a hunch that this is just a simple little mistake somewhere that needs to be hunted down.

I've tested a bunch of PS2 games over the years on half a dozen pc's and have never run into this before.

Edit: can you post a screenshot of the game file itself? And maybe post a link to the game from the main site?

What is it that makes it hard for you people to understand? I said this more than once, I don't want to say it again.

I already did the following highlighted in red. Do you even check pages beforehand?

AND yes, obviously it is the PS2 version. And why do you need a screenshot of the game? It's a standalone ISO in a folder. What do you need?

This is a playable game. Therefore, any problems you are having are on your end. As for why he wants to see a screenshot, the section you quoted answers that.

is it possible that you are running a file that should be inside of an iso rather than being an iso file

a screen grab of the file/s you are running may be required (of the game not the emu)
Which not only answers your question again, but also states that the problem you are having is not "RSOD". When a specific acronym or name exists for an error, using that name to refer to an entirely different issue causes people who might help you to think you have one specific, well-known problem. Your problem is something different so it is important to accept that information and accept the help people try to give you. It seems like you already pissed a few of the more knowledgeable people off with your ignorance and general rudeness. If you want to solve your problem, feel free to provide the screenshots people have requested.

    *sigh* Once more.

I have an AMERICAN version of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 downloaded as an ISO.

Here is the link to the game: http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Plays...2_(USA)/150892

Here are my settings (some of them were changed around after): https://imgur.com/a/7fqtu

I am using a USA BIOS, and every time I load my T.H.U.G 2 ISO, the PS2 doesn't load the disc and takes me to this screen: http://i.imgur.com/4GxzKNM.png

    What am I doing wrong?

    Here's a screenshot of the game: http://i.imgur.com/4c3BD9N.png

    Exclamation

are you certain that expanded properly?
the filesize really doesn't look it. (346.64kbytes. should be 3.13gbytes)
if that truly did come out of the archive that size, no wonder the emu shitcanned it, virtually nothing to read but a filename for the size of it.
    the name is correct though.
    ...
    the latest 7zip should help?
    but, i dunno?
that file IS 3.13g properly expanded from the 7zip onsite that it is.
one other way to check that file, is open the iso in rar or 7zip, if you can view it's contents (with a SLUS_ file in there) then it's fine, but that size isn't right.
if the return message on the archive handlers spit out an error (archive/iso corrupt) then try again, but make sure the file IS 3.13g in size, and view that iso via archive handler too...
    [edit]
    stuff.

as you would any archive, simply right-click the iso, and open with 7zip or rar.
if 7zip is already installed, simply go, hover over with cursor/highlight iso name, right click for 7zip > open archive. that's it, you should be looking at the contents of the iso itself, rar also can do this.

My 7zip is far different than the one other people use. I'll go find 7zip.

OK, got all the files ripped out of there, and here they are!

    http://imgur.com/a/pGMuG

I've noticed some of the files in the screenshots lie at 0 KB. Something tells me some of the files for the game have been wiped. Should I run the .IMG in the emulator?

Maybe this explains a500+'s theory about the weird size of the ISO, saying it should be 3.13 GB.

^^ that list appears to be the actual interior of the iso itself, nothing should be run there. (the SLUS file perhaps?)
those are plugin and resource related, for the console game hardware interactions alone.
just load the clean iso itself.
    ...
another thing you could try, is just expand the iso as an archive, it should create an open directory with all the ps2 iso shit, rather than it just being the iso. (1, 7zip > 2, iso > 3, raw files/dir)
the open directory will be the same physical size as the iso, just not contained as such. (suppose you could try running the SLUS/startup file in that for eliminations sake? shouldn't hurt as long as the expanded raw files are left in the dir as is.)
    ...
not to go off-track, but img inside a ps2 iso isn't the same, it's a generic extension for a binary file in general, and that can be anything, like dat, raw, and bin, and the like.)

What do you mean "run the SLUS/startup file"?

As I thought you never extracted the iso at all but simply opened the the archive inside another program being 7zip Opener, that as you have already mentioned is not the same as 7zip itself

the next one you extracted the contents of the iso file instead of just the iso file itself

the file you want is the one shown in the 7zip Opener screen grab (that is the file but the file size almost says it is just a shadow file and not the real iso file so the content of the iso will not be correct either and not a Playstation 2 disc image, hence the warning screen you get on boot), you just need to drag it out of 7zip opener to your desktop or to another folder, either that or simply use the official 7zip program and use the extract here option from a right click of the original archive

Use of abusive language is not allowed and I really did not want to warn you but you have given me no choice, you need to chill out instead of alienating users trying to help you.

Do not bother trying to run the SLUS file that ill not help the game run

It is very possible that the file has not fully downloaded as the file size is far too small and even the extracted contents of the iso should not be 0 size

I already did the following colored in orange. View the spoiler to see the console events. All of those events brought me to a black screen. And yes, the console text made emoticons. Oh well. Also, I ran the SLUS file as an .ELF, so this is what it loads when ran as an .ELF file.

    PlayStation 2 ======== Update rebooting..
    open fail name ¥IOP¥DNAS300.IMG;1
    file 'cdrom0:¥IOP¥DNAS300.IMG;1' can't open

So, yeah. This ISO is DEAD..

By the way, my Browser had told me the download had finished. Whenever I'm downloading something the file will appear as random numbers and letters in my Downloads folder. So the file itself is dead. But how can we know for sure? (Well, I guess 0 KBs plus the PS2 not reading the disc and sending me straight to a red screen kind of answers it all.)

Alright, thanks for your help guys.

P.S, I had extracted the ISO long before you even said that. Did you check the Imgur link at all?
