Can play game but can't save game

So I'm trying to play a game on dolphin and I can get it to load and I can play it but the emulator won't recognize the iso file when i click the browse menu. However when I click the 'open' tab it'll recognize the iso. I'm confused and all I want to do is play and save my game

There is no mention of the game though or even if it is a GameCube game or a Wii game

There is also no mention of how a save was attempted where it was a save state or an in-game save or even if there is any sort or error message if a save is attempted
