Interesting. I think Virgin Media need to check their exchange outside of my home... A few years ago (2009) they had to come out and fix some wires in the exchange. The pit was flooding with rain water, and given the fact that was almost 5 years ago I bet the same thing has happened again.

and I can see myself on the viewer thing, feels hot :hump:
Australia sounds fucking dangerous. Everything can kill you...
I don't live in a city, never been bitten by snakes or any dangerous spiders.
I've eaten snakes though :P

If he's right in the city (Brisbane) and not in the 'burbs he may not have to deal with it  but Queensland is hellish in the warmer months. Most Aussies love it, but I prefer a more European climate.
Looks like a huntsman to me, their bite isn't dangerous.
Yeah I see them, and daddy long legs but neither are anything to worry about. Good for catching flies and other insects.
Crocs are way up north. I've only seen them in wildlife parks (captivity) down here.
Australia is a big place, it isn't full of deadly stuff wall to wall. Like I said it's ok down here where I am, and I'm not even in a city.
You go out into the bush out the road take a dog or two with you, make a heap of noise walking around and the snakes move off. They aren't looking to kill big creatures like humans, if they bite it's a self defense reaction if you catch them unawares.
Well, looks like from all the stuff I'm selling on Friday I'll be making about $100. :D Might have to get Mario Kart 8.
