near, but not close. it's either in my town or far north. either way i can't just up and leave without a reason and come home with something they don't want me to have. more likely i get the guy to bring it here in the morning, test it all with a portable TV, then pay the man and store it where they cannot find it.

also, my friends scattered across the country after '05 so no luck there, nor with PT cus there ain't any here, and my bike is in bad need of air.

thing is, they never let me do much on my own. i've played games that they never even HEARD of and they want to know about content if i say somethings bad. seriously, if i say something is bad, it's just flat bad if i don't go into detail about it. also, i've always been stingy, so i know when to jump on stuff. sort of like this, i'm never gonna get this price anywhere else i reckon and honestly they cannot expect a working 3DS to go for 50. most of the Xbox 360s here are either majorly expensive, broken, or scams (telling you it's sold and then directing you to an auction site [not eBay] and i'm never gonna fall for it) and eBay costs an arm and a leg to ship one, and new they're several hundred for even the standalone 4GB model!

How far away is a decent sized city then?
I assume you're in the states, but I dunno where.
Organise a day trip for the family, and makes some calls in advance to get some prices.
Then you play stores off against each other with the prices.

When you said you don't have a car did you mean your entire family? :dread:

southern USA. decent city... north, west, east, take your pick, few miles any direction and too far to walk, i ain't hitchhiking, and my bike wouldn't be able to handle it.

i don't think any of the local stores can match a price like this on either, but ima try.

i like to stay home when they go out, gives me anime time and less performance anxiety when recording or writing.

we have two cars, one of them works, and we use it regularly, the other is a pet project me and my dad are working on. it's a Geo Metro and it can get north of 50MPG if we can get the damn thing to work right. the way my dad is, he buys and sells family cars every few years or so, the Volvo we have now might not last till next year (meaning he might sell it), and he might get a DeLorean (now THERE'S a happy thought! :drool:) anybody heard of "Stacker?"

no, the Metro is a Geo Metro and i don't know the rest of it,

as for the Volvo, it's a 240 with all kinds of problems, door handles stick on inside and out, left rear passenger door doesn't open, and it has no leg room in the front. it gets at least 45MPG tho.

Well, afaik your Geo Metro should be a rebadged Suzuki Cultus/Swift :thot: Unless there's another rebadged version I haven't heard of.
If it's a 3 cylinder Suzuki it'd be economical, but those engines run really rough (not well balanced) and don't last all that long before needing a rebuild.
The 4 cylinder variants are quite good really (for the most part).
