I actually run 2K rather than XP, but yeah, I agree. I used it for the longest time via my brother's computer and, besides the time he picked up a nasty virus, I don't recall anything ever going seriously wrong. Of course there were little errors here and there, but it is still Windows after all. :P

I'm not searching for anything special, just a little job to have some income. Since I'm not sure which schedule I will have next semester at school I want a mid-turn.

You had to write a piece of creative writing based on a painting from one of the Scottish art galleries... There were no big prizes or anything, it was really just a little thing, but it was good for my confidence. ^_^ I really like to write, but I have a tendency to not really have the best opinion of anything I produce. :P

And yeah. Actually, I feel sort of okay about exams this year. ^_^ I've worked fairly hard, so I'm not freaking out like I was a few years back. Well...okay, I am freaking out. But it's the good kind of freaking out. Not the 'oh shit I've done nothing and I'm so going to fail' kind.

Damn it, this sucks. I'm hungry, very tired, still a little drunk, I need a damn cig, I'm broke, and even though I was told my laptop isn't going to show up today, for some reason I'm still insisting on staying up until the FedEx truck goes by.

Writing something from a painting? Impressive. :P At school I had that kind of homeworlk but I failed horribly. :lol

I wish. I started with my favourite Swedish team, IFK Göteborg, won the league, swedish cup, Royal League (Scandinavian Crap..) and finally the UEFA Cup, so Manchester City gave me an offer. I'm really fucking up in the league this year, but the FA cup and Community Shield victories should make sure that they'll allow me to patch things up..

And IFK? =o They used to be my heroes. On Championship Manager 3, they had this Sierra Leone youngster called Kabba Samura. I signed him every game, no matter how big a team I was, and he was an absolute legend. :P

Speaking of football, Walter Smith is a treacherous bastard. =( He left our national team just as we were getting to be semi-good again, and just as we looked as if we might qualify for a major competition for the first time in years. :P Ah well. While true, the thing is the snes controller really needed to be bigger. Plus those fancy little grips go a long way in the comfort zone. And let's not forget vibration function. Then there's the analog sticks and the pressure sensitive buttons. And now the six axis.

It's come a long way and it still works as good as it did on day one.

Also everyone knows the best controller belongs to the N64. Thing was pretty much designed for golden eye the way I see it. Plus it's one of the few contollers on the market that can be used as a grappling hook.

I think size-wise, the SNES controller was fine (but I have small hands and creepy long fingers :P), but the handles on the PSX one do make it a heck of a lot more comfortable. Controllers without them always feel a little unnatural to me now.

That's my problem, I suffer from what I like to call "ginormous hand syndrome". Basically my hands are about normal proportions, but they're huge. As in "I could probably hide a basketball buy closing my hands together". On the plus side, I can almost play a NES one handed with the old style controllers. For an idea of how that works, hold your hand out palm up. Now move your thumb towards the middle of your hand. Now bend your middle finger. My finger comes to about 1/2 of the way down the left arrow on the d pad. I just need to file down the sharp corners and grow these things a bit more and i can finally do my one man two player double dragon speed run.

You still use the d pads? I used to be like that. But then I started using the sticks. I've never been able to use the d pad on a newer game since. Which I guess kind of works out since a lot of games tend to be using the d pad for inventory management or and that sort of thing these days. Oh yes, and I never use vibration in an RPG. Too many rapid fire attacks and oversized magic spells. The same goes for some racing games.

That would be one of them. Even though the hook bits are small they're not way off to the side like some controllers. I'm pretty sure you could climb a building, at least if you weren't heavy enough to cause the cord to snap.

Yes and no, however vibration is coming back due to a suprising and somewhat hilarious turn of events. Apparently the dudes who made a lawsuit preventing the PS3 from having vibration have decided, ah fuck it go ahead.

Hopefully said vibrating sa will be on the market by MGS4 day.
