I 'built' this computer with...say, $200, it has a decent processor, got another gig of RAM for $20 and I'm looking to get a 4670, which is about $100 in here.

Supposedly I can run Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2 and shit with my native res with everything jacked up, and that card is from 2008 or so. I'm starting to find out you don't have to upgrade every month unless you're changing monitors every week or something. :wacko:

I was getting suggestions of 4GB DDR3 RAM memories with Dual Channel and i7's all over. :wacko:

Only 4GB?! You need at least 8GB, a 3ghz quad core, an HD6250, AND a 7.1ch sound card. Even with those cheap-o specs, you'll still be dropping at least 10 frames per second in Wordpad.

The Microsoft assistant has a texture resolution of 30000x30000, and the model has 5 MILLION vertices! If you don't have the top stuff, you're screwed, even notepad will need to be on medium to low settings.

I have AA off in everything I play, and games look fine.

Back in the 80s, when you used to have to worry about whether or not your card support certain instruction sets like glide or whatever the hell it was :wacko:
