I am currently speaking with a gentleman who might send me a copy of MIDINES so that I may reverse engineer the thing and begin an open source production of them. MIDINES was invented by "wayfar" and basically the guy made an incredible synth for the NES console. He then fell off the face of the earth, but continued to take orders. ORders which were never filled or refunded. It has been several years now and this guy needs to pay and I will make him do so.

What IC? These are run-of-the-mill parallel EPROMs which can do nothing besides read and write data. The glue logic is required to map out where each section of data is stored in respect to the CPU.
