Or maybe there plotting to take over and the mouse you found was just one that failed the rigid training the other have received to overthrow you as king of your home!
Hey there. Just survived a night with two monsters, one that has a gaze of death and one that screamer. Both could be killed only by light. I've had a weird nightmare.
I Laughed... Hard

umd movies here are dirt cheap too
I am so damned frustrated with this game....just keep wandering the castle and grinding.... :(
I REFUSE to use a 'walkthrough'; my wife uses 'em and I always bust her chops about it.
I'm thinking its something to do with the large clock, though W-H-A-T?! I got a Dracula Ring down in the sewer caves that tells me to "wear...clock...", so what gives? I can do the wolf, the bat, the mist, and have all of their respective 'abilities'. I am decent enough at it, and rarely have any trouble dispatching the bosses, but 95% of the ghosts and monsters that I destroy give me 1 hit point....sheeeesh...what the hell am I missing?!
BTW, what are these two 'familiars' supposed to be doing for me?? (Faery and Ghost..)
Thing is, I'm hesitant to really ask for 'help', because to have the game SPOILED for me would be a ROYAL piss-off...
:(
Whoooops!
SOTN.
Wandering...wandering....wandering..... Ughhh...
Yeah, at this point, I'm so leveled-up that I'm pretty much LORD of the Castle....none of the enemies take more than a swipe or two...
I have loved this game since its release, but dont recall ever getting farther than I am right now. I am free to fly-up and kill the final boss (Richter?) at any time I choose, but whats the point in that? I want the FULL experience..
Could I get maybe some (SPOILER FREE) help?
what was the last boss you beat?
Hmmm... Beat this Griffon-type thing up in the Chapel, then a Werewolf/Minotaur combo in the Arena, and just recently 'Olroc'. (or whatever..)
The last guy began as a priest/wizard, but turned into a large, green zombie towards his end.
The only enemies that require any sort of effort are those large, spinning weapon-spheres.
I am using a huge sword called 'Estoc' that seems to cut 'em down like paper. Only trouble is, with this sword I cannot crouch down, and you LURCH forward with every thrust...
(Seems to me that when I played years ago, I had an even BADDER sword, and it had a blue-glow effect...maybe I am confused with another GBA/DS Castlevania, though..)
I also strictly use Holy Water 98% of the time...
(Except for the gear-tower areas, I use the Spinning Bibles on those twats there - Harpies and Medusas...)
from gamefaqs, I tried to remove most of the spoilers.
Go to the clock tower, go straight then turn into the bat and go up to get
the fire of bat. Now explore this area and
get all parts on the map. once you have explored you should have more
equipment, then go through the bottom door and then go to the next room. Then you
will see gears, attack them until they click then hit the other two on the
other side then go to the room at the bottom and get the treasure. Go up and talk to the faerie.
You will find the annoying fleaman again then you should find a cloaked knight
then heart & life max ups to the left and right. then you will be in a place
with a whole bunch of sword lord guys so just explore and don't leave yet.
Then go to the far left and you should be able to destroy the wall and get the
walk armor. then you will be in a room with items that are in the wall and the
boss.
Tell me if that helps.
Thanks, man! Never knew about the hitting of the gears...was a pain in the ASS! (Cant believe that the game would expect anyone to figure that out on their own - sinister!)
Got the new gear from the hole in the wall, but what 'Faerie' up WHERE?! The top area has the flea-douches and that knight at the top, killed those and got the life/heart-ups, but I dont see any faerie...?
Went to the Sword-Lord area, days ago, and beat that flying boss there. This area spills into the Chapel, if I'm not mistaken...
"Talk to the Faerie" - ??
Thanks again!
the faerie tells you that the wall to the right is funny. that's the one that leads to sword lords.
Are you still stuck?
Have NO idea about a faerie, brother.....do you mean the old codger in the library, the vendor? That chick that keeps showing up and talking to me?
Anyhow, yeah....still stuck as hell. :(
I have been scouting for breakable walls and holes in the ceilings that I can fly into....nada that I havent seen before...
I hung-around in the clock room until the LEFT side opened-up, what do I need to do to cause the RIGHT side to open? (I have already been up into the middle channel..)
For that matter, the floor of the clock room looks like it is meant to open.......?!?
Lost....so lost....running in circles. I havent leveled-up in a while, because the enemies arent a challenge anymore....I am level 20-something, and I have 240 HP and 150 Heart-Count.....meh...sucks...
The faerie is a familiar. I use the demon since the demon can open some switches.
The floor of the Clock does open, but you need to wear both rings: Gold & Silver.
Anyway, yeah, use a faq and hide it.
Ohhhh...that faerie....(duh)....I never call on that little thing...huh...
So then, Silver Ring...need the Silver Ring...
Anyone? There arent many places that I cannot get to, if any...
Head back to the Portal in the Abandoned Mines and teleport back to
Olrox's. Make your way back to the spike room in the first bell tower of
the Royal Chapel. Once there, make sure you have your Spike Breaker
equipped and head to the left. After a chitchat with Maria, continue left
to find the Silver Ring
Great, now I'll tell my brother about this converstaion you two have been having about SOTN, and I'm sure I'll glue him off Skyrim. :P
I fucking hate lizards. Add those to the list of animals I don't like.
So...partition resizing. Taking forever, yo.
I need to buy a new portable hard drive to store all of my films, of the 500 gigs it has, it only has 30 gigs left.
>Implying you need more than one partition
One drive, one partition, one OS (Windows 7. :] )
Now isn't the time to be needing hard drives. The prices have sky rocketed due to conditions being poor where majority of drives are made.
For a 1TB drive a few months ago you were looking at paying £40-50. Now you're looking at paying almost double.
Of course, used hard drives from CEX and other secondhand shops aren't affected, as they don't seem to be aware of the price increase.
Windows 7 runs alright on our desktop PC with a Sempron 3200+ and 1GB DDR2...
Think it has 2GB DDR2 in it now, fuck knows, it's been in a cupboard for months.
Also I guess I'm a Windows 7 Nazi, eh?
I'm for some reason, enjoying Black Ops better in the Wii than in the 360.
Black Ops is the much better game to Modern Warfare 3.
It's only £7.99 in Gamestation, I'm tempted to buy it.
