Also most glasses don't last too long when you sleep with them on, I've fallen asleep many many a time with these frames on and they have yet to break on me. I remember the pair I had before these I fell asleep with them on and had to tape one of the arms back on until I got to the opticians to get another pair. :lol

You do need a recent prescription. If you don't have one, just go to the eye doc and get an exam, then tell them you don't want their $300 glasses, take a copy of your prescription and leave :P

Basically anything more than two feet away from me is blurry. Last time my glasses broke, I had to work the next day and couldn't afford to miss a shift. Wandering around the back halls, unable to focus on anything, gave me the biggest headache of my life.
Thankfully I didn't have to use the bandsaw that day. :dread:

Was just going to say that. The whole 20/20, 20/40 thing is distance sights. So, for example, someone with 20/40 vision can read things from 20 feet away that someone with 20/20 vision can read from 40 feet away. Conversely, someone with 20/15 vision can read something from 20 feet away that a person with 20/20 vision can read from 15 feet away. It's not an actual quantitative measurement.
