I edited, he's a popularizer of science. I could care less what his jealous colleagues might think of him, he's as smart if not smarter than Einstein except he's not a dork and is charismatic. Dr. Michio Kaku does more as a spokesman for science than any other nerd can and he makes science something cool, popularization is good for science and if it becomes part of pop culture it's better for science to be popular than the mindless shit that's so popular.

Once he manages to make a sizeable contribution to a unified field theory, then we'll talk. Which, then, wouldn't even be close seeing as Einstein fucking INVENTED the field, more or less.

String theory is a bit shaky on it's own, but when you factor in M theory and surmise the branes being constructed of strings, then things start to make a bit more sense, albeit it's still a stretch of more than just the imagination.
