I Like Cake!
I know it's not the same country, but for some reason I had a mental image of one of the Royal Guard (the guys with the tall hats in Britain) feeling up an emo kid in complete silence, like an awkward porn scene. :-/
However, I need orange juice and rest. I hate being sick. Especially on my last day off. :wav:
I like how you felt the need to explain to me what "one of the Royal Guard" is.
I suppose there are many that could be described by that name, but those would be the ones instantly coming to mind. In any case, feel better soon!
I need to change, get some clean clothes together, that sort of thing so we can leave soon.
OK, I'm going back to my corner now:whistle:
>singing Linkin Park songs in RB3.
>IT FEELZ GEWD TO B 12 AGAINZ
Does this thread have a topic, or is it random things?
I actually just sang that. I tried going for the original lyric but I couldn't and used the ORANGE WILL NOT PEEL line.Quote:
THIS ORANGE WILL NOT PEEL
I chuckled and lost the full combo, but damn it, it was worth it.
>Linkin Park
>Hybrid Theory
>2000.
I'm somewhat depressed to think that was almost 11 years ago. ;_______;
Totally random. It exists just for chit chat and talking, but posts don't count towards your post count in here. Also, spam is alright in here as long as it's not too excessive.
:lol
Same here. Same with The Matrix. It's even sadder to think that the early 2000's will be like the 80's are to my parents in a decade, and that I may have a family of my own by then. :dead:
Hybrid Theory is a fucking great album though, I don't care what anyone says.
Oh shit, I completely forgot about Cosmic, despite being the only person who played against him.
COSMIC. PREPARE FOR MONDAY.
WE IS AT WAR. AGAINST OURSELVES.
I still have my original copy of Hybrid Theory.
What?!
Oh that's right, Matrix is from what, '99? Geez.
Don't worry, in 2020's we will revere things from the 90's as the cool retro shit like we do with the 80's.
Agreed.
I still have both Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (SAY THAT THREE TIMES FAST!) albums from Limp Bizkit.
Because wearing Vans, baggy pants and a red NY Yankees cap was fucking cool back in the day.
Alright, I'm off. I'll see you guys in a few days!
Take care sweetie.
Ugh, FFXIII makes me want to punch faces in. It does so many things well, but other things it does awful. It would be alright if I just hated the game, but some of game is amazing. It's like sticking your hand in a bag with both gold and needles. There isn't enough that I don't want to stop playing, it seems to be an equal mix of 'ohhh, awesome', and 'were they smoking pot making this game?'.
Kids regard Halo as a RETRO GAEM now because it was released in 2000. You tell me.
When I was 12-13 I didn't had any jeans at all, all I wore were cargo and baggy pants. While blasting Nookie in my...TAPE WALKMAN.
I don't think I started the first Hang-Out thread, I'm almost positive it was Gnafu or Aadon, or someone from the retro crowd.. But I do think I might have been the one to standardize it\make it stick. I think what happened was, I figured people were always going to spam and that rather than endlessly fight an uphill battle against it, or try to control what can and can't be a discussion all of the time.. that it might actually be better to just give everyone a place to speak their mind.
In other words.. If you can't beat them, join them.
Kids these days. Tisk tisk.
I had a CD player by the time those albums were out, but I remember rocking the walkman back in the day. The only tape I had was Hello Nasty by The Beastie Boys. :P
It was definitely a good idea, I'd say. Having a place for everyone to talk about random stuff is nice. Although it seems there's still people that end up spamming other threads anyways.
I feel the same way toward Xenogears. The game is actually very good, but sometimes it annoys me like for example:
-The battling arena. (The gameplay in that part looks like a sloppy fighting game.)
-The sewer monster. (Every time i fought it, it would do a move that would instantly kill a member party.)
I'm 19 and I already feel ancient.
Cassette tapes for music, then CDs which are almost obsolete.
And there were mini disks in between, but not many people remember those because they weren't a massive success.
Discs that could only hold 650-700MB...... Not 25-50GB
God damn it. :psyduck:
Hybrid Theory was tight, I don't care what anyone says.
